Select/High Performance Schedule

This year, Bristol CRUSH Volleyball Club will be running a Select/HP program, targeted toward girls who are looking to play at a higher level than the regional tournaments. We will be forming/selecting for teams in the 18u, 17U, 16u and 15u, and tentatively 14U age groups. The practice requirements may be more than regional programs, possible two to three per week - one to two weeknights and on Sunday. Practices for HP/select teams will start earlier than the regional programs (the week after Thanksgiving), in order to prepare for the early, national-level tournaments. These teams will be participating in the following tournaments:

NERVA series one day events For 2024, the one day tournaments will now be 1/2 day.

NERVA 4 April 14, 2024

NERVA 5 (championships) April 28, 2024

In addition to the NERVA tournaments, the Select (HP) teams will participate in up to 3 of the following tournaments:

Individual teams may attend more than the 3 weekend tournaments at an added cost.

Potential additional tournaments - not included in the official schedule, and with an added cost above the standard tuition rate.

Select(HP) teams are intended for the serious athlete, and require a higher level of committment than the regional teams. Select(HP) players are expected to be at most practices and all tournaments, and to plan family vacations around the tournaments.

The two and three day tournaments require a hotel committment for entry into the tournaments for those that are 60 miles away from the tournament site. Each team is required to book a minimum of 5 hotel rooms for accpetance into the tournament. Rooms must be booked throught the THS(tournament housing service) company. Player/parents are responsible for all travel and hotel costs. Parents are responsible for all supervision of players at these weekend tournaments.

Attendance at most practices is REQUIRED.

Attendance at ALL tournaments is REQUIRED.
