Girls Volleyball Programs
The Bristol Boys and Girls Club CRUSH Volleyball Club (sometimes shortened to Bristol CRUSH Volleyball Club) was created in 2009 to allow Bristol, Connecticut area girls an affordable way to participate in club volleyball. We are run through the Bristol Boys and Girls Club in Bristol, and participate in contests through USA Volleyball, specifically within the New England Regional Volleyball Association in their NERVA Juniors program. New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA):
We have been running our regional club volleyball program for years, for age groups 12 and under through 18, attending the New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA) tournaments (5 of which are head each spring, on alternating Sundays, starting in early March and ending in early May).
NERVA Juniors Tournaments
We added a High Performance (HP) program in the Spring of 2018 club season, which will participate in the following 3 weekend-long tournaments, in addition to the scheduled NERVA tournaments in March through May:
Each summer, to help teams keep in shape and prepare for the upcoming Fall season, we run a summer girls volleyball league, open to any girls volleyball teams who want to participate. Signups are as a team (as opposed to individual, like our club programs) and registration opens in the spring. Games are scheduled on Monday and Tuesday nights and the schedule depends on the number of teams that register, but usually one night is Varsity-level play and the other night is Junior Varsity/Freshmen-level play. The league runs from the end of June until the end of August.
Middle School Programs
We also run a summer middle school developmental program, that opens for individual registration in the spring, and runs during the same time frame that the summer league does (end of June until the end of August, ending one week prior to when the summer league ends).
